FOR EXPERIENCED KITESURFERS

Experienced kitesurfers have the option to rent our latest kiteboarding equipment. The whole set includes: kite (+bar), harness, and board (TwinTip). Upon request, directional boards are available too.

All our centers provide the latest and most excellent equipment. Every year in August, we receive next year’s gear. On top of that, we sell used equipment.

Rental Requirements

The rental option is available for guests with profound upwind skills, i.e., with the achieved VDWS Level Step 5. If such skills do not exist, we ask you to book a 2-hour refresher course. Once the instructor is aware that you can stay upwind, you will get equipment. VDWS licenses are available on location. We also offer to upgrade levels at the centers. If guests do not have the required level, we will swap the booked arrangement for lessons. Read more.

Arrangements

Equipment booked for a couple of days can only be reserved and used consecutively. The splitting of rental days by 1 or 2 days max. is only possible if announced one day in advance.

Dual Use

If two people share the rented equipment, we charge an additional 20% of the booked price.

Recommendation

We recommend taking a 2-hour refresher course for those kitesurfers who haven’t been kiting for a while. Such will familiarize you with the equipment as well as the spot.
